Unbelievably SLOW on Startup Jul 28, 2010 Yeah, unfortunately I have HAD to use this program for about 10 years now and every other version I pay the HUGE upgrade fee in the hopes that the program will open in less than 5 minutes! And yes, I've always had (and now have) the top of the line Intel desktop computer. No matter if the data file is on a local drive or network, it's like molasses in January in North Dakota. I would seriously consider another option.

I've read enough Jul 26, 2010 I'm in need of accounting software and after reading these reviews and calculating that more people dislike QuickBooks than like it, I'm staying away.
I don't need glitches and marketing department based software.
quickbooks pro 2010 Jul 24, 2010 This was soooo much cheaper. The delivery was exactly as said. Packaging was secure. Vendor was very professional. I would order again.
MISERABLE upgrade experience from ms accounting 2009 Jul 24, 2010 We bought this program because one of the selling points is that QuickBooks Pro 2010 will work for former users of MS Accounting 2009 (computer died and new OS MS 7 won't accept MS Accounting 2009). It has been one of the worst computer experiences we have had to work through and we are not able to use the software YET!
After about a month of trying (we also work M-F when their offices at Intuit are open) to traverse the various error messages and download options for converting the MS file, I finally took time off from work to come home and spend hours on the phone with the Intuit people----who are very difficult for me to understand as English is their second language. I ultimately was told it would take an additional FIFTY DOLLAR FEE for them to convert my MS backup which they would have done in 2 working days. That was on 7/21/10. I phoned back 7/23/10 to find out why they had not done this (took several phone calls and lots of holds and waits and ultimately quite some time) before they could figure out that NOBODY HAD EVEN LOOKED AT THE FILE AS IT WAS PUT IN THE WRONG PERSON'S FOLDER. This starts the whole 2 day process over once again and I have now been promised that it will be fixed by NEXT TUESDAY..... on 7/27/10. They finally gave me a password to supposedly get in and check on the progress of the order this time......and of course that doesn't work either any better than the case number worked on the phone when I was trying to check that out yesterday. These people are absolutely HORRENDOUS TO DEAL WITH!
Another friend purchased the same program and had to spend 2 days and over 8 hours of time on the phone to get her product up and running......with her accountant ex-husband ready to pop a few gaskets by the time everything worked as the box states.
Quickbooks Pro 2010 Jul 20, 2010 This order was was received in an excellent timely manner. I was very happy with this Amazon experience and would recommend it.
