 Turbo Tax Is a Giant Rip Off Mar 10, 2010
I got ripped off over $100 from turbo tax. I was supposedly using the free edition and had opted out of all of the extras but somehow by the end of all my hard work entering forms, the total added up to over $100. I paid it instead of starting all over again. It is completely unethical to sneak in charges like that and not until after 2 hours of work! I had a much better experience with H&R Block last year. Never again will I use Turbo Tax.

I have used TurboTax several times, but this year's program was the easiest ever. Highly recommend.

I've used Turbo Tax for about 6yrs now. It's accurate, helpful, and inexpensive. A few years back I tried H&R Block, and they charged me $300 for my returns. I pay an average of about $55 for Turbo Tax, it was the obvious choice.

TURBO TAX DELUX IS A GOOD PROGRAM FOR TAXES. YOU HAVE TO TAKE ALL YOUR INFORMATION INTO A TAX PREPARATION PLACE SO WHY NOT JUST ENTER IT IN THE PROGRAM BY YOURSELF, SAVE TIME AND MONEY AND THE NEXT YEAR YOU CAN IMPORT ALL THE PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR.
THE PROBLEM I SEE IS THEY KEEP CHANGING THE BASE PROGRAM EVERY YEAR. IF THEY WOULD LEAVE THE OUTLINE THE SAME IT WOULD BE MUCH EASIER.
OH YES, BUY THE DISC, DON'T DO YOUR TAXES ON LINE. EJ
TurboTax 2009 - good product Mar 09, 2010
I've used TurboTax for about the last 10 years or so, and have mostly been satisfied with it. I'm not pleased that they sometimes "nickel and dime" you -- e.g., asking for extra $$ for features like e-filing -- but then that's Intuit, and this review is for Amazon.
Ordering the product was simple; and delivery was quite prompt. Value (price for what I got) was also one of the best I could find. So I'm quite satisfied with this purchase.
